About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and children’s book author with a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate the complexities of trauma and grief. With extensive experience across diverse clinical settings, I bring a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to every client interaction.

My work is rooted in the belief that healing is possible through safe, supportive, and individualized care. I integrate traditional talk therapy with somatic and experiential modalities such as hypnotherapy, breathwork, and mindfulness-based practices — a holistic framework that allows clients to access deeper levels of self-awareness, regulation, and resilience.

I didn't always dream of this path. Growing up, I imagined becoming an astronaut, a lawyer, and a choreographer, in no particular order. That winding curiosity eventually led me to The University of Michigan, where I earned my Master of Social Work degree. From there, I traded Midwest winters for California sunshine and now works as a mental health therapist in San Diego.

In addition to my clinical practice, I offer mentorship to emerging and established clinicians seeking guidance in trauma-informed care, grief work, and integrative therapeutic techniques.

My first book, The Elephant On Aaron’s Chest, written under my childhood nickname, BZ Tebo- helps kids understand and navigate their heavier emotions.

Whether you're seeking support in the aftermath of loss, navigating past trauma, or simply looking to reconnect with your inner strength, I offer a grounded, empathetic space for healing and growth.
